We invite you to explore the Graduate Admissions website for details on the admission and application processes. UNC Charlotte’s Graduate School uses a paperless/online application portal to process all applications. It is recommended to establish your applicant portal at http://mygradschool.uncc.edu. This is your gateway to the admission process and key to staying informed.
As you review our graduate programs, pay particular attention to application deadlines given noting that many programs have earlier deadlines than the standard (priority) Graduate School deadlines. For additional information about admissions requirements or the application process, make plans to attend an Information Session either on campus or online. Admissions Counselors are also available to meet with you by appointment or during walk-in hours each week.
You can work on your application over multiple sessions if desired. When you have completed all of the required questions and are satisfied with your application, you can submit it. Payment of the application processing fee is required in order to submit an application, and the fee is non-transferable and non-refundable.

NOTICE FOR APPLICANTS FROM OUTSIDE THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA
Admission of applicants residing outside the State of North Carolina to an online degree or certificate program or individual online course offered by the University of North Carolina at Charlotte is depended on UNC Charlotte’s ability to secure authorization from the applicant’s state of residence, if such authorization is required. Individuals interested in applying to a UNC Charlotte online degree or certificate program or individual course who do not reside in one of the states listed on the Office of Distance Education’s website should not submit an application or application fee for admission to the University until authorization is verified. See the Office of Distance Education’s website for further details.
The University reserves the right to withhold or rescind the admission of an applicant who fails to meet any of the requirements for admission at the time of matriculation. Similarly, the University reserves the right to cancel the enrollment of any student who fails to satisfy the requirements of admission after matriculation at UNC Charlotte. Additionally, admission to many programs is competitive so meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission to a graduate program and the University may restrict enrollments when necessary because of budgetary or other constraints.
