Mathematical Finance (MS)

UNC Charlotte’s Master of Science in Mathematical Finance is nationally ranked in the top 25 by both The Financial Engineer and QuantNet. The Mathematical Finance program is a recognized STEM program housed in the Belk College of Business, which prepares students to pursue interesting careers in finance developing in depth skills in mathematics, finance, and economics. Financial institutions, investment banks, and commodities firms rely heavily on professionals with these skills to develop sophisticated mathematical models to identify, measure, and manage risk. Economics (MS)

The Master of Science in Economics is a comprehensive program combining economic analysis with advanced quantitative methods to prepare students for analytical management positions in a variety of industries. The program has a strong track record of placing alums in Fortune 500 firms, PhD programs, and government jobs. The M.S. Economics is a part of the Belk College of Business, an AACSB International accredited business program located in the second largest financial center in the U.S., giving students a unique networking opportunity while pursuing their degree. Students engage in a dynamic but flexible curriculum where they select a concentration to tailor the program to their specific interests, and have the opportunity for international study. Business Administration (DBA)

The UNC Charlotte Doctorate in Business Administration is a launchpad for careers in management consulting, or a professorship at a business school. Organizational Science (Ph.D.)

Organizational Science is an interdisciplinary field of inquiry focusing on employee and organizational health, well-being, and effectiveness. Organizational Science is both a science and a practice, founded on the notion that enhanced understanding leads to applications and interventions that benefit the individual, work groups, the organization, the customer, the community, and the larger society in which the organization operates.

Workplace Competencies (CERT)

The Graduate Certificate in Workplace Competencies is designed for graduate students across all disciplines to enhance fundamental professional skills such as written and verbal communication, presentation-building, managing new initiatives, and working in diverse teams.

Business Administration (MBA)

The Master of Business Administration builds a student's potential for a leadership position in today's complex business organization by developing effective communications, systematic and creative problem-solving skills, confidence in decision making, ethical insight, sensitivity to teamwork and consensus-building, as well as a world view. Real Estate Finance and Development (CERT)

The graduate certificate in Real Estate Finance and Development is for individuals who wish to pursue advanced study in real estate finance and real estate development. Students take one master’s-level course in financial management and four elective courses on topics including real estate finance, development, real estate capital markets and site feasibility analysis.

Real Estate (MS)

By engaging faculty and resources from the Belk College of Business, the Center for Real Estate, the College of Architecture, the Department of Civil Engineering, and the Department of Geography, students will enjoy a robust educational environment that will provide them with the tools to meet the full spectrum of opportunities and challenges they will face in their professional real estate careers. Students graduating from the Master of Science in Real Estate may qualify for positions such as development associates, underwriters, brokers, asset and property managers, acquisition specialists and financial analysts.

Management (MS)

The Master of Science in Management program is a full-time master's program delivered during the day that will provide business acumen to recent non-business undergraduates. This fast-track program delivers business fundamentals and develops graduates who are prepared to solve complex issues, evaluate and sell ideas, and lead teams across a wide variety of functions and industries. Students will be exposed to the major functional areas of business including accounting, finance, marketing and management.
