Emma – Bristol, England

Emma was born and grew up in Bristol, England, moving to Charlotte when she was in middle school with her father being offered a position as a Music Director at a local church. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. During her undergraduate experience,  she had two internships in the Criminal Justice system. One was during a semester abroad in Swansea, Wales. In 2012, Emma moved back to the U.K. to be closer to family and pursue a working career. A couple years ago, she decided to pursue higher education and wanted to return to the U.S. Emma is now a  Master’s student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. While in the program, she hopes to work with children during  her clinical experiences.
