Frank – Charlotte, North Carolina
Frank served for 12 years in the Army Reserve, deploying overseas several times. In Iraq, he served as a parachute rigger in support of Special Forces units. Later, in Afghanistan, he worked as a broadcaster specializing in video production. After his time in the service, he elected to attend UNC Charlotte to pursue a Master of Arts in Counseling with a concentration in clinical mental health. He says, “My hope is to use my degree to help other veterans and their families adjust and achieve greatness in their civilian lives.” Frank is a recipient of the 2016-2017 Veterans Graduate Assistantships at UNC Charlotte.
