Information Session Goals
- To provide a general overview of North Carolina policy and law as it relates to residency
- To communicate the primary purpose of the Residency Determination Office
- To provide a general overview of the Online Residence and Tuition Status Application and Appeals processes
Students can register for the event at ncresidency.uncc.edu/contact
To register for this information session, create a prospective student portal account at – https://mygradschool.uncc.edu, and GoToWebinar. If you already have an account, simply log in to RSVP. Your prospective student portal will display a list of events you can choose to attend and has several features to help you explore Graduate School opportunities. The portal also has a message board where you can post questions, an email Inbox where you can view emails sent to you by Graduate Admissions, as well as the online admissions application.
The Graduate School will conduct this information session for University employees who hold a baccalaureate degree and wish to pursue their graduate education. Enrollment counselors will explain the easy application process, answer program questions and distribute HR information for the tuition waiver and free textbook rental programs. Full-time employees can take three classes per year, tuition free! Additionally, employees can apply easily for admission as a graduate certificate or post-baccalaureate (non-degree) student without standardized tests, transcripts or recommendation requirements.
